Paris Flying Festival

DJ Swing'LO and the Paris Flying Events association present  the  10th edition of the Paris Flying Festival, international Rock n 'Swing festival in Paris. This festival was created under the impetus of Laurent, known under the pseudonym of DJ Swing'Lo. Having participated in several festivals and events in France and internationally, he felt that Paris was the ideal place to host such an event.

This festival is dedicated to the celebration of Swing and Rock'n'Roll music from the 1930s to the 1960s. And to combine business with pleasure,  the various dances of this period are taught in the form of workshops.

In the program  of this festival:

-       3 fantastic evenings with concerts offering a warm atmosphere thanks to live music, shows and passionate dancers, with a selection of fantastic bands, singers and musicians: Barcelona big blues band feat. Drew Davies & Myriam Swanson (esp.), Jumpin up (it), Amhell & her Backdoor men (fr), The 6 Fire balls (Czech Republic)

-      Musical sets during the live evenings are provided by DJs who are used to international festivals.

-      On the festival site, a vintage fair is organized where vintage clothing stands, dance shoes, as well as a large selection of music CDs and the special Paris Flying Festival CD are presented.

-      Dance lessons: lindy hop, balboa, rock (swing), charleston,

jazz roots, boogie, blues.

Fast food is available on site to allow participants to fully enjoy this weekend.

For this 10th edition, the festival is like last year hosted by Gare au Théatre / La Station Danse.

A former freight station, Gare au Théâtre has become a tool for meeting and creating which covers a total area of 3000 m2. A sober architecture, railway style, which still bears the traces of its industrial past: stone facades, brick arches or palisades with wooden shutters. And in all, more than 1000 m2 of parquet.
